Vigil Health provides a notification relay service that monitors continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data from your Dexcom device and sends SMS alerts based on thresholds you configure. Vigil Health is General Wellness Software and operates as a notification relay service, not a medical device.
IMPORTANT: Vigil Health is NOT a medical device, medical service, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Vigil Health does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. It is a notification relay service that supplements, not replaces, your primary CGM device and medical care.
IMPORTANT: Vigil Health alerts are not guaranteed to be delivered in real-time. In case of a medical emergency, including severe hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, always call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical care. Do not rely solely on Vigil Health for emergency notifications.
You must continue to monitor your primary Dexcom CGM device and follow your healthcare provider's instructions. Vigil Health is a supplement to your existing diabetes management plan, not a replacement.
