Built by someone who almost didn't make it.

The first time, my insulin pump delivered 10 units per hour instead of 1. I passed out in the shower. My wife found me on the floor. I woke up surrounded by paramedics. No alert was ever sent.

The second time, my blood sugar fell so low the sensor couldn't read it. The CGM alarms didn't fire. A dog saved my life by jumping on the bed until I woke up. My family didn't find out until the next morning.
